10. Apparently, dresses made out of bubble wrap can be haute couture, who needs silk, chiffon, or fruit rollup? (Secretly, I loved it.)
9. Apparently, Ben Stiller in blue body paint, long hair, and Pandora speak IS entertaining.
8. Apparently, Sarah Jessica Parker can do something I don’t particularly love, and I can still love her.
7. Apparently, Hip Hop dancers are needed at the Oscars. The choreo and performance to the Best Original Score nominees, amazing.
6. Apparently, if you use an “e” when spelling “Basterds” it’s totally PC.
5. Apparently, Michael Jackson lives on… still…, even in tribute at the Oscars. ::cheesy fake and annoying smile::
4. Apparently, Whoopi Goldberg’s been peeing on herself, for years.

Whoopi is seen here in are hilarious new commercial for Poise, a brand of panty liner. I just said "panty" and "Whoopi Goldberg"' in the same sentence. Twice...
3. Making more than $2 Billion dollars at the box office doesn’t make you the Best Picture or Best Director.

Avatar director James Cameron with friend and (the first woman to ever win) Best Director, for The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow.
2. ”You must forgo doing what’s popular, to do what’s right.” Mo’Nique can give a sensible speech that doesn’t include any combination of “my” & “shugas!” Seriously, congrats sis…

Mo'Nique becomes only the fifth black woman to win in an acting Academy Award, Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" By Sapphire.

And the number one thing I learned at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards:
1. Be inspired. Because there’s always room for one more upset, an unexpected win, or for someone to overcome the odds and come out on top.
Congratulations to all of tonight’s winners and nominees, I look forward to the ones to come… and maybe one day joining the ranks.
